An experienced Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) registered PSW and a background as a graduate Nurse student from York University, with over 5 years in the hospital acute care setting, long Term Care facilities and Community Care assignments. These hands on experiences have provided me a platform to develop and enhance my skills in order to evolve and be prepared for my career goal as fully Registered Nurse.

My passion for a compassionate and culturally sensitive care, safety and wellbeing of my clients is my ignition for this noble profession I have chosen, and is my core principle.

My experience as a PSW in post-op units and as a student placement Nursing student in different hospitals and LTC/Retirement homes through agency and working under a regulated health care professional as a PSW/UCP staff, provided me with the opportunity to assist with patient care, performing and documenting Activities of Daily living, maintaining hygiene, safe environment and help complete assigned assessments within an interdisciplinary team.
I also collaborated with inter-professional teams in helping to teach clients and families about safe transfer and ambulation with documentation through Microsoft office suite and meditech to provide enhanced  communication with management staff.
